Piper has tried to remain invisible at school.  Being the only deaf student in a hearing high school has made this a pretty easy task.  But suddenly she finds herself thrust in the spotlight when she becomes the manager of Dumb, a new rock band that has formed at her school.  Dumb is a mess - some talent, but very little organization.  How is a girl who can't even hear the band's music going to get them a paying gig?  That is her challenge, and she has a month to do it!
