Scarlet wants a normal life.  She wants to be a regular teenager who goes to high school, gets homework, and hangs out with friends.  But Scarlet is living on borrowed time.  She has been diagnosed with a rare and untreatable heart condition that could end her life at any moment.  She has begged her parents for the chance to go to high school like a regular kid and she is willing to accept the consequences.  However, Scarlet doesn't realize the most dangerous thing in her life, is not her heart.  If she doesn't figure it out, her life really will be over.
